Teslan® 4000 Low-VOC Polyurethane Topcoat is recommended for a wide array of applications where protection against corrosion and UV/weathering is required.

Teslan 4000 is a solvent-based, two-component urethane topcoat designed for application over Teslan 1101 Zinc-CNT (carbon nanotubes) or Teslan 1500 Aluminum-CNT primers.

Applications include bridges and transportation infrastructure, as well as shjips and barges, locks and dams, drilling rigs and platforms, pipelines, water towers and other steel structures that must withstand ultraviolet (UV) exposure for prolonged periods of time.

Teslan 4000 is designed to be applied directly to properly primed steel and other metal substrates using conventional air-spray and airless-spray equipment and techniques.

Teslan is the world’s most durable corrosion-resistant two-coat protective coating system. Teslan primers and topcoats are recommended for any application where steel or aluminum must withstand rust and corrosion, even in the most extreme environments.
