Teslan® 3100 Epoxy CNT Low-VOC Topcoat combines carbon nanotubes (CNT) in an epoxy-polyamide formulation to deliver superior protection against damaging corrosion in a variety of applications. Designed with the severe oil and gas exploration and production environments in mind, Teslan 3100 topcoat outperforms conventional coatings thanks to carbon nanotube technology.

Teslan 3100 can be applied directly to properly primed steel and other metal substrates. It is especially effective in applications like drilling rigs, offshore platforms, storage tanks and process vessels, pipelines and other equipment.

It is a solvent-based, two-component epoxy-polyamide topcoat with carbon nanotubes that align in super strong ropelike structures that bring strength, durability and corrosion fighting properties to topcoat protection for metal surfaces. This translates into mean longer coating life for extended protection and reduced cost in many offshore and coastal topside environments.

Teslan 3100 topcoat can be used directly over Teslan 1100 and 1101 Zinc-CNT or Teslan 1500 Aluminum-CNT primers or Teslan 2100 Epoxy-CNT intermediate coating.

Spray application is recommended. It is easily applied using conventional air-spray, air-assisted airless or airless spray equipment.
